TIMELESS: The most
breathtaking cinematography ever filmed from the U.S. National
Parks
Our lives have become overly routine.
Every morning, many of us leave our high-rise apartments or cookie
cutter subdivision homes and march off to monotonous jobs. We
get stuck eating at the same chain restaurants, shopping at the same
chain stores, and vacationing at the same tourist traps. Tragically,
we rarely open our eyes to the unappreciated natural beauty and
diversity of the world.

Overview of the visual
content
Cinematographer David Fortney has captured some of the
most amazing images of the U.S. National Parks. From mountains,
forests, and deserts, to rivers, lakes, and oceans, the images are
breathtaking. Fortney's mix of aerial, still, and time lapse
photography transports us to Death Valley to witness the passing of
a thunderstorm, to the Joshua Tree to marvel at the age old rock
formations, to the Redwood forest where the trees' majesty dwarfs
its surroundings, and to the Grand Canyon where mother nature's hand
carved indescribable artwork over thousands of years. For 45
minutes, the viewer is guided through 18 different parks (Arches,
Banff, Bryce, Canyon lands, Death Valley, Denali, Glacier, Grand
Canyon, Grand Teton, Jasper, Joshua Tree, Olympic, Pt. Lobos,
Redwood, Salt Point, Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Zion), each with its
own distinct architecture and splendor. Consult our Library to
